On October 27th 2019 Norton Street Festa came to life for its annual Italian Festa. A great opportunity for everyone to taste our products and have more details about our wine delivery service. This was a fun-filled community event that attracts visitors from all over Sydney of all ages professions and backgrounds. Leichhardt’s Italian community is strong and its Italian Festa is a sight to behold. Norton Street Italian Festa is the largest and longest-running Italian Festival in Australia. The all-day event celebrates traditional Italian food, wines, music, culture and entertainment, bringing together the wider community through a love of Italian culture in Australia.

It was Il Mercante inaugural event at Norton Street Festa. We were able to showcase our bottles directly to the public as we used to be solely wholesalers. We have presented some of our best wines from Tuscany, thanks to Tenute del Cerro Estate.

Norton Street Festa is a very busy event with over 140,000 people attending every year. It was such a wonderful day and we were pleased to share with the public our favourite products and Italian Wine Culture.
